About
The international team within SUTURE UK is a branch of the operating team with the goal of creating an educational international community by reaching out to international surgical societies to become our partners in the journey of developing and standardizing the surgical education across the globe.
Through sharing experiences and cooperation, we will be able to create local Surgical Skills hubs which will improve the access to surgical skills education and resources for students, helping in promoting surgery as a career and allowing students to fulfil their maximum surgical potential.
Aims
Establish a standardised surgical education curriculum in international surgical societies and schools.
Consolidating research into the undergraduate surgical education by creating scientific networks with other societies and studying the undergraduate surgical education landscape at the international level.
Offering Surgical education solutions on a global level by using the LMS platform, training surgical trainers in country and creating strategies for establishing international surgical skills hubs.
